SUMMARY: Responsible for supervising in the daily operation of inventory, warehousing functions, and the physical facilities of the warehouse.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and organize warehouse personnel to meet daily requirements including activities related to receiving, labeling, loading, consolidation, and storage of cargo. Provide efficient and cost effective shipping and receiving of customers' freight. Train and coordinate the activities of warehouse persons. Work closely with other departments to ensure that operational service offering meets customers requirements.

EDUCATION: Associate's degree in business/related field or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.

EXPERIENCE: 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience, with emphasis in areas such as Logistics and Distribution Services. Knowledge of DOT regulations, hazardous materials, customs' warehouse regulations and OSHA requirements preferred.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint. Interface with Common Carrier and software programs essential for warehouse operation.

COMPETENCIES: Action oriented, collaborates, demonstrates self- awareness, manages ambiguity, nimble learning.

OTHER: Must have working knowledge of U.S, Customs, Dangerous cargo, OSHA requirements. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a requirement. Must be able to bend, reach, lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment.

FLSA STATUS: The position is Exempt. May require the ability to work overtime to meet required deadlines. All work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health, are expected to be respected and complied with.
