The role of an IT Senior Security Analyst develops, implements, and maintains a comprehensive information security program which includes defining security policies, processes, and standards. The senior security analyst works with the organization to select and deploy technical controls to meet specific security requirements and defines processes and standards to ensure that security configurations are maintained.  Key focus areas include Identity and access management, data protection, threat hunting, incident response, user education, and disaster recovery.

Essential Functions:

• Develops and maintains Incident response and disaster recovery playbooks


• Partners with document management team to ensure proper data protection is in place


• Leads projects to implement new security products


• Develops security processes and procedures, and supports service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that security controls are managed and maintained


• Collaborates on critical IT projects to ensure that security issues are addressed throughout the project life cycle


• Works with information security leadership to develop strategies and plans to enforce security requirements and address identified risks


• Consults on portfolio projects to assess security requirements and controls and to ensure that security controls are implemented as planned


• Provides cyber related education to our end user community.


• Monitors the security landscape and provides escalation when threats / out of cycle patches are released.
  
   

Additional Duties/Responsibilities: 

• On call 24X7 support


• Engages directly with third party cyber expertise and service providers.


• Establishes best practices and ensures methodical assessments are executed to drive cyber investment roadmaps.


• Develops and maintains a security architecture process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology and threat drivers


• Aids CIO and CISO activities in support of functional priorities, such as strategic plans, initiatives, and organizational development
