Serving as liaison between Sales & Account Services team and ARISE Engineering staff for account engineering issues.
Addressing client issues and bringing to resolution.
Monitoring inspection timeliness, keeping overdue inspections for ALL ARISE accounts to a minimum, while interacting with operations (Manager of Engineering, District Managers and inspectors) to accomplish this goal.
Monitoring and reduce stale (open for more than 18 months) recommendations for all major accounts (+$25,000). Keep current open recommendations to a minimum via interaction with District Managers and inspectors.
Working with the Quoting Specialist in promoting account profitability and efficient use of ARISE resources for account renewal, highlighting instances of inefficiency or lack of profitability for account audits.
Preparing narrative including justification for any deviation requests from standard pricing.
Tracking use of additional visits and exceptional service requirements.
Responding to client questions on new and renewal quotes and ABIIC policy.
Consulting with office/field managers if client requests non-standard service delivery to make sure ARISE can deliver requested service.
Communicating any agreed-upon non-standard servicing procedures to office staff so they can be implemented with field staff.
Working with the ARISE Brecksville office staff for timely account follow-up, especially as it relates to account renewal.
Providing the Sales & Marketing Manager and the ARISE Company President with CUBES information on ARISE clients.
Developing new business channels.
Reviewing quotes for new business channels while working with the Quoting Specialist.
Conducting marketing visits with channels to develop new clients.
Attending marketing functions as requested.
Serving as a back-up for other members of the sales and account management team while they are traveling or conducting marketing functions.
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering is preferred and/or equivalent practical experience. S
Special Certification / Designations (Including requirement of driver's license) National Board Commission and Certificate of Competency to inspect boilers and pressure vessels.
Work independently with client management, brokers and TUV SUD GRC to develop specialized service plans, management programs, policies, procedures and training programs.
Understand management concepts and applications to safety and risk management.
Evaluate and access potential problems on an overall account basis.
Communicate verbally and written, the managerial and technical information to the Account Management Team
Make effective managerial and technical presentations to diverse groups.
Computer literacy - Windows, Microsoft Office, and other electronic reporting.
The position of Account Manager is a part of the ARISE Inc. business unit, whose mission is to supply superior service to our client base with Shop Inspection activity, Jurisdictional Inspection Services and Risk Analysis activity as well as Account Management.
The main focus of this position is to aid in our quest of becoming a world-class provider of Boiler & Machinery Jurisdictional & Risk Engineering Services. There are three distinct areas of responsibility for this position: Client management & sales support, account management, and management of ALL ARISE key accounts. For the ARISE Account Manager, general client management of ALL ARISE accounts will be the primary focus (80%) of this positon. A strong working knowledge of the ARISE Inc. business model and office process is required.
Account Manager responsibilities include: engaging in holistic planning and observation of ARISE inspection services; investigating methods to improve ARISE inspection services when possible, for both quality and efficiency for ALL ARISE clients, not just those in the Account Manager's personal account portfolio (their direct and channel clients). The ARISE Account Manager will also engage in duties as required for their channels and direct clients, reviewing service plan estimates for jurisdictional inspections for potential clients, providing midterm reports as required covering inspection activity and review outstanding recommendations and status, providing renewal reports and quotes, and attend client and broker meetings as required.
The position is home based and requires a strong degree of self-motivation. Travel can be intensive during peak demand periods. On average travel will be approximately 20% - 30%. Attending client & staff meetings as required.
As part of the normal provision of service to our client base, a limited degree of on-site meeting will be conducted. This is fundamental to all members of the Account Management team. A final common component of all Account Managers is supporting our Sales and Marketing Program.
