Kforce has a client that is seeking a UI Product Designer who will specifically be designing for a B2B2C consumer facing application in Irvine, CA.
Summary:
The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of HCI methods to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and business stakeholders. They will use strong design-thinking skills to bring people together from various sectors of our organization and shape the end-to-end experiences. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, autonomous, and able to take ownership and responsibility for every detail of their work. They will solve problems by confidently formulating strategies for research and design. This person will be involved with projects from brainstorming to implementation and should be comfortable with complexity. The ideal candidate has the flexibility to manage change and bring focus to ambiguity. Overall, they will be responsible for delivering a user experience that delights and meets the needs of our users.
Responsibilities of the UI Product Designer:
UI Product Designer will partner with Product Managers to distill high-level business requirements and overall product strategy
Plan and facilitate various research strategies to gather data that informs design (e.g., contextual interviews, surveys, usability testing, etc.)
UI Product Designer applies qualitative research methods to analyze data and synthesize meaningful product or user insights
Design easy to use workflows by applying UX methods and best practices
As a UI Product Designer, you will create sketches, lo-fidelity wireframes, and/or hi-fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma and/or Axure based on project need
Contribute to new UI components as necessary and update/maintain product style guides while also contributing to the overall company's design system in Figma
UI Product Designer will write detailed and testable acceptance criteria for new or changed product functionality
REQUIREMENTS:
1-3+ years professional experience with user experience design for complex enterprise software (legal or finance a plus)
Proven history leading design, architecting, and optimizing of websites and/or applications using UX methods and a demonstrable end-to-end process
Proven history establishing new UI components or contributing to enterprise design systems (specifically in Figma)
Experience working with offshore technology teams is a plus
Advanced ability to conceive and document solutions through user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and/or written specifications and user stories
Ability to navigate in ambiguity, react quickly and comfortably to change, and drive clarity, actions, and decisions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent relationship management skills
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web scripting languages and an understanding of how design choices translate in development (the ability to write code not required)
