Job Description:

Role: Sr .Net Developer

Cognizant is looking for a Sr .Net Developer in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

  • Managing RUN team with associates  with .Net skills

  • Taking initiatives on SLA improvements  RISK assessment and fulfillment  Applens and  Mainspring deployment  etc.   for the domain belongs

  • Taking care L2 and L3 activities

  • Need minimum 8 to 9 years of experience.

  • Required Skills: ASP.NET ASP.NET MVC .Net Framework .Net Core

  • Life and Annuities Insurance Agency Mgmt

  • Techincal Skills-  .Net Programming-C# .Net ANSI SQL ADO.NET .Net Programming-VB .Net

  • Rollout operational changes and functional enhancements as per schedule 

  • Manage and develop team capability for resolving complex incidents  prepare status reports for Customers and internal stakeholders WITH the objective of resolving incidents and addressing adhoc requests to support high complex issues WITHIN THE LIMITS OF pre-defined corporate guidelines.. Stakeholder Management:



      • Communication with Business users related to resolving queries  obtain clarifications and providing updates

      • Setup Business bridge calls to update status of Critical incidents / Outages

      • Follow up with internal and external stakeholders (Customer and Vendor liaison) to progress tickets to resolution.





Business Development and Customer Relationship Management:


  • Participate in customer meetings and provide project updates.

Account Operations:


  • Perform task estimation.


  • guide the service analyst on estimation.


  • Coordinate shift operations and logistics.

Audit:


  • Participate in audits as necessary.
