The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Adoption Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Being responsible for driving the success of 3M’s Computer Assisted Provider Documentation (CAPD) solution, CDI Engage

  • Improving the usability of the CAPD platform, by providing customer representation feedback and CDI expertise

  • Ensuring the success of 3M clients by understanding and driving key CDI outcomes, and by identifying, responding to, and following up on client needs

  • Accelerating the implementation of 3M’s CAPD solution(s) at the customer site, which includes establishing customer objectives, performing workflow discovery, participate in testing, training and go live of the customer

  • Acting as a relationship manager for the customer post go-live in helping to achieve key CDI outcomes

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and seven (7) years of experience in Customer Service

  • Two (2) combined years of customer service and/or account management experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Registered Nurse, CCDS, or CDIP certification

  • Two (2) years of customer service or account management experience.

  • Two (3) years of experience with physician interaction.

  • In-depth knowledge of the health information industry as related to clinical documentation improvement and coding and their relationship to Revenue Integrity and the ability to analyze the metrics involved in this industry

Location: Remote

Travel: May include up to: 50%

Relocation Assistance: Is authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
