Reliability Technician Multi-Craft: Electrical / Controls with Mechanical Secondary Skills

Beech Island, SC

The Maintenance Department is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all equipment associated with the production, packaging, and distribution of Kimberly Clark products.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assume Reliability ownership of all assigned Asset areas


• Provide technical support to all Teams (Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and other departments as needed)


• Perform other Reliability tasks as assigned (Electrical or Mechanical)

Education / Experience Requirements:

• Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field


• 3 years of experience in and Industrial environment as a Maintenance Technician or high school diploma and 5 years of experience in an industrial environment as a Maintenance Technician

Technical Skill Requirements:

• Rockwell Control Logix Systems (Troubleshooting and Programming)


• Rockwell software: RS Logix


• Variable Frequency drives: PowerFlex, ABB


• Rockwell Kinetix 6500 Servo Control


• Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE


• Networking and Communications: EtherNet / IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet


• AC Drives, Motors, Encoder and Resolver troubleshooting


• Calibration of flow, level, pressure, and temperature devices and loops


• Mechanical Skills:


• Knowledgeable in the use of hand tools and use of basic shop equipment.


• Familiar with bearings, conveying systems, gearboxes, equipment rebuilds, and repairs

Other Qualifications Required:

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime


• Good problem solving and decision making skills


• Ability to handle multiple priorities.  Solid team player interested in helping others & motivated self-starter
