The Role

Reporting to the Manager - Corporate Treasury and residingin the Treasury/Corporate Finance department. The individual joining the team will be responsible for the timely, accurate and complete preparation of various schedules and reports, supporting the maintenance and company's access to short-term credit facilities. As part of your specific responsibilities, in the following areas, you will:


  • Support various treasury finance functions such as pulling crude/product contracts, pulling daily/monthly reports, data entry into various finance files and updating pricing information

  • Support various treasury credit/cash functions such as maintain a status review file of customer credit reviews, prepare credit review files, request financial statements from customers, gather other financial data, including bank and trade references from companies that wish to purchase products or are financially obligated to Par Pacific

  • Assist as needed in obtaining the security instruments (i.e. personal guaranty, corporate guaranty, letter of credit, etc.)

  • Maintain and update banking information files, such as banks, entity, account types, account numbers, authorized users and signers.

  • Maintain and update month-end listings of outstanding guarantees, bonds, and letters of credit issued to/from Par Pacific entities

  • Assist with other corporate treasury functions, including with research and resolution of internal and external audit requests

  • Maintain security and confidentiality of financial records

  • Back-up other tasks and perform other duties as needed and assigned

The Requirements

To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. To be a good fit for the TreasuryClerk opportunity, you will have:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

  • 2 to 3 years of Treasury or Accounting experience

  • Solid computer skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic proficiency in Microsoft Word

  • SAP knowledge/experience preferred, and oil & gas industry background a plus

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently, while maintaining strong attention to detail

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivation, high standards, and a performance improvement mindset.

  • Ability to work with limited supervision in a team-oriented environment
