Draper is conducting a nationwide search for a highly innovative scientific/engineering leader, with significant experience in technical and academic management as well as design and development experience in PNT / GN&C technologies and systems, including associated sensors, electronics and algorithms. Key responsibilities will include leadership and hands-on roles in the development of the fundamental science, sensing concepts, instruments and systems in the realm of navigation & sensing.


Required Qualifications:

    Doctorate in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, physics, mathematics, or related discipline is required. 10+ years of experience is desired.
  • A strong technical background in PNT / GN&C algorithms and processing electronics is highly desired.

  • The candidate must have significant experience in leading complex instrument or system development pursuits in relevant technical areas.

  • The candidate must be capable of creating and utilizing system simulations in MATLAB, C++, Python, etc. as well as HWIL platforms.

  • The candidate must be well published.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.

  • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
