The Opportunity:

Mattel, Inc., the largest toy company in the world, is seeking an Associate Sales Representative. The US sales organization focuses on account management across all channels, working to achieve revenue and profit objectives for the company.

This position will be based in our corporate office in El Segundo, CA. The position may require periodic travel to the account and various trade shows around the country.

What Your Impact Will Be:

* Learn the online business across Mattel's portfolio of brands

* Assist with the development of annual strategic account plans

* Proactively explore customer opportunities for product placements and promotions

* Maintain consistent communication across internal and external partners; build/maintain strong relationships

* Responsible for extensive knowledge of the breadth of all Mattel's brands

* Partner with the Sales Analyst on developing reports to identify trends and sales opportunities

* Conduct analysis of internal and external sales data to make insightful and actionable recommendations

* Create reports and presentations to effectively communication account plans and support recommendations

* Stay abreast of online trends and industry best practices

* Partner with forecasting and retail marketing to inform business decisions

What We're Looking For:

* Bachelor's degree required

* 1-3 years related experience

* Excellent communication and presentation skills; both verbal and written

* Proficient MS Office skills required, including Excel and Power point.

* Strong quantitative/analytical skills required; ability to make recommendations based on data analysis

* Business acumen

* Self-starter, eager to learn and organized
