Job Description:

Environmental Services Worker (EVS)

Full-time (2nd shift - 2pm-10pm)

To be successful in this role:


  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team atmosphere

  • Have strong listening, communication & hospitality skills

  • Be able to bend, lift & reach

  • Possess effective time management skills & be able to take direction with minimal instructions

Position Responsibilities:


  • Performing routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas including common spaces & resident apartments, as well as taking on specific EVS related projects

  • Ensuring a clean, safe, & comfortable environment is maintained throughout the community & that the needs of the residents are met

  • Assuring that standards of cleanliness, sanitation & safety are being upheld

Qualifications:


  • Prior experience in floor care, such as use of carpet cleaning and buffering machines (required)

  • 1 year of prior Housekeeping/EVS experience (preferred)
