Kforce has a client that is seeking a Sr. Systems Manager in Wallingford, CT.
Responsibilities of the Sr. Systems Manager:
Sr. Systems Manager will be responsible for daily operations including, user administration, configuration and ongoing use/development of software applications within the organization as needed
Support, analyze and monitor system processes pertaining to individual and role functionality, report generation, and data extraction
Serves as primary contact in conjunction with direct reports for staff questions and issues concerning specific software applications
Sr. Systems Manager develops and advises best practices regarding workflow and system use; Instrumental in identifying and troubleshooting software inconsistencies, user reported errors, and problems
Works with stakeholders and vendors to optimize the system functionality to provide excellent user experience and system performance
Performs comprehensive testing of all patches and new releases
Document and communicate modifications, their impact to user experience and reporting
Analyze cross departmental impact of individual user or department level system/workflow change requests and work effectively with customer stakeholders to manage competing or conflicting requests and needs
Creatively respond to identified issues, to increase user satisfaction, improve data integrity, and streamline common workflows
Responsible for designing and adhering to all Joint Commission, State, and Federal guidelines and standards
3+ years' experience administrating EHR/EMR system (preferred)
2+ years' direct management experience of multifunctional support teams
Experience working in medical or behavioral health care setting
Project Management experience preferred
Strong analytical and technical background
Ability to write simple and complex specifications for internal and external parties
Highly self-motivated and directed with a strong ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Ability to translate technical information to common language that can be understood by the lay person
Demonstrates the ability to be adaptable and flexible based on changing business and training environments
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
Strong communication both verbal and written
Comfortable presenting information virtual or in person
Ability to work professionally and effectively with all levels in the organization
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Efficient work ethic
Ability to easily adapt and multitask
Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
