The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Site Quality Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Guiding the quality department, leadership for business unit level operating committees, leadership in New Product Introduction (NPI) and commercialization as quality gatekeeper and quality champion for projects 


• Supporting and executing the long-term strategic direction for quality, integrated into the overall strategic plan


• Developing, creating, and supporting a high performing quality assurance team


• Implementing appropriate total quality management strategies including effective communication of the quality strategies and priorities


• Focusing on customer quality and improving customer satisfaction, including focus on customer visits and communication 

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Seven (7) combined years of experience working in Quality, Product Engineering, and/or Manufacturing/Production in a private, public, government or military environment 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master’s degree or higher in Management, STEM or related discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Quality Management and/or Leadership experience in a quality, manufacturing, six sigma, supply chain and/or laboratory environment


• Experience in working with global extended value stream and customer supply chain 


• Experience in working with global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers 


• Demonstrated experience of implementing systemic continuous improvement 

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
