The purpose of the Market Attendant/Barista position is to provide memorable customer service through prompt service, making quality beverages and serving quality products. The Market Attendant/Barista shows genuine concern for our guests and is the “face” of Zinc.
Responsibilities:
Greets, welcomes and connects with every customer
Provide friendly and personable service.
Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all food products and drinks.
Prepare drinks in accordance with Zinc guidelines and customer requests.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
Performs cleaning tasks in accordance to cleanliness and safety standards.
Works well in a team environment.
When working the register - follows cash handling procedures and cash register policies.
Maintain a positive morale and professional attitude.
Handle food and hot beverages.
Communicate with BOH to insure all orders and requests are filled.
Collect and return dirty dishes to the kitchen.
Monitor food items and restock as necessary to maintain inventory.
Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team.
Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers.
Qualifications:
No prior experience needed, open minded attitude to learn.
