About the Role

Your primary responsibility is to win on service to ensure client retention by partnering with the Treasury Management Office to manage a book of clients, each with complex needs in a highly competitive space.

You will be on a first-name basis with our commercial clients and work hand-in-hand to address their deposit and cash management needs. No two days will be the same as you solve for simple requests, complex issues, and everything in between.

You will provide value by being apprised of and anticipating the clients' needs and delivering concierge-style customer service. Your satisfaction will come from the positive outcomes that you provide as a result of your skillful problem solving and collaborative spirit across various lines of business.

What You Can Expect

Our clients expect things yesterday, which requires you to be on top of everything they need and anticipate what comes next. You will proactively contact existing customers to relate information regarding system changes, enhancements, outages, regulatory changes, or any other information that could cause material customer impact.

How You'll Spend Your Time


  • You will manage a portfolio of general and high-priority commercial and corporate relationships, identify document requirements, both legal (ownership and signatory authority) and regulatory (BSA/AML CIP requirements) for new account opening for both new and existing relationships.

  • You will be the point person for all system problems. You will instruct users on how to perform technical tasks and use your judgment to initiate the correct actions.

  • You will identify cross-sale opportunities with existing customers needing additional cash management/deposit products and increase customer awareness of alternative products offered by Treasury Services, which would benefit their organization.

COMMUNICATION: You will need exceptional verbal and written communication to express yourself clearly and concisely to internal and external clients.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: You will use your solid knowledge of product delivery systems, online computer systems, and MS Office to navigate multiple systems.

ORGANIZATION: You will need to be efficient to handle multiple requests and prioritize your work.

TREASURY MANAGEMENT: You will use your knowledge and experience with banking and finance, cash management, bank operations, and products and services to deliver concierge-style service to clients.

Education & Experience Requirements

The required level of knowledge is normally acquired through a Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 4 years' experience in a bank operations or customer service position or 7 to 8 years' equivalent experience in a bank operations or customer service function.


  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Excellent knowledge of product delivery systems and on-line computer systems

  • Excellent knowledge of Bank operations

  • Excellent knowledge of customer service etiquette

  • Excellent knowledge of banking and Treasury Management products

  • Good PC and software application skills (Microsoft Office, Excel; Word)

  • Thorough understanding of a multitude of software products and the ability to understand new

  • applications with a minimum of prior exposure to the product

  • Excellent ability to handle multiple requests in a competent and professional manner
