Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Performance Management group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Performance Management Programs Business Support!

The Business Support will provide expertise to the.....program and support seismic safety of INL nuclear operations.

Responsibilities Include:


  • Coordinate deliverables for Department Manager and Program Leads.

  • Review conditions created and closed within the issues management system on a daily basis for completion and clarity; work resolution with originator of condition or elevate discrepancies to program lead.

  • Facilitate Lab Wide Condition Screening Teams for conditions entered into LabWay. Lead review and trend code assignment decisions with screening team.

  • Assist in coordination of assessments; assist with logistics and document preparation

  • Assist with metric reporting; requires developing reports, compiling data, and updating metrics in preparation of Management Review Meeting (MRM) reports.

  • Coordinate and facilitate trending meeting for Performance Management (PM) by creating heat maps based on trend codes, reading assessment reports to identify common themes, review events, and other various data sources to assess operational risk areas.

  • Comparison of self-identified issues, assessment topics and areas in which we have operational failure to resolve if we are evaluating performance in operational risk areas.

  • Maintain and track PM training requirements for PM department.

  • Assist with delivery of virtual training classes as computer technology specialist and facilitator for training.

  • Support the MRM process and the program lead by sending data calls, receiving and sorting information as received, reviewing information for completion, and compiling draft MRM report.

  • Support Operations Council with logistics and compiling minutes, maintaining actions list. Communicate directly with Chief Operating Officers across INL to ensure actions are being properly handled.

Minimum Requirements:


  • High School Diploma plus 6 years relevant experience.

  • Relevant Experience consists of, but not limited to reviewing data, developing reports, reviewing for accuracy and compiling data.

  • Must understand or have the ability to grasp concepts in issues management, self-assessment, observations, lessons learned, and event investigation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel

Preferred Requirements:


  • Understanding of PM programs and how they are interconnected.

  • Knowledgeable with laboratory facilities and mission to support MRM process.
