OVERVIEW

The Product Marketing Manager will drive the vision for the category by vertical and channel of distribution. This individual will drive a disciplined approach to the category to drive profitability and efficiencies in the business. The Channel Product Manager will work with Sales, Marketing, Product and Operations to ensure overall product needs are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT


  • Work across all Sales Channels (Ecommerce, Key Accounts and Buying Groups) to develop product lines and assortments for each respective brand and category.

  • Collaborate with brand GM's to develop the N.A. Region consensus view on product line needs, assortments and P.O.s

  • Establish market research template to offer feedback on trends to the global Product team across the key verticals for each channel and develop sales/merchant market tours to gain key customer feedback

  • Develop a product tiering strategy for each channel (assortments, in store, incentives, training and service)

  • Work closely with National Key Account teams with key customers (i.e. Bass Pro, Walmart)

  • Develop SMU opportunities for key National Key Accounts

  • Align with the vertical product development calendar to ensure proper feedback into the development process

  • Analysis of SKU by SKU performance, collection performance

  • Edit Global Product line plan to ensure Region alignment with launch timing and marketing needs

MARKETING & SALES OPERATIONS


  • Work on establishing a proper PO process to address channel product needs and increase inventory optimization (limit EOL)

  • Develop trade marketing strategy including promotion, distribution, shelving, merchandising, promotion, and pricing strategies for multi channels

  • Work collaboratively with sales directors/managers to ensure programs are retailer-targeted

  • Coordinate with Demand Planning team to ensure in season inventory levels to optimize replenishment.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations and Sales operations to align GTM efforts at each season launch

  • Ensure sales tools are aligned for the regions needs and delivered on time

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product training needs

  • Develop with marketing the brand image at retail including the development of POP and fixturing program

  • Develop sample strategy

QUALIFICATIONS


  • 5+ years of experience working within sales, product and/or marketing

  • 2+ years of Go-To-Market Experience, preferably within the apparel and accessory industry

  • Strong ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
