Job Description:
Budget Title: Staff Associate (SL-4)
Salary: Commensurate with experience
The Division of Operations Business Manager is the primary financial manager for the division. The manager provides oversight of the financial activities of Information Technology Services, Emergency Services, Human Resources, and the University Center for Training and Development. This individual will also work in close alignment with the Physical Facilities finance team.
Reporting to the Vice President for Operations, this individual is responsible for working in conjunction with the University's Business Office in formulating and disseminating financial guidelines and advising departmental leadership on budgeting and strategic use of funds. The Business Manager is a key member of the division's leadership team.
This individual also has a dotted line to the Associate Vice President for Technology Services and will assist the department of ITS in budgeting, contract negotiations, and developing and managing the Technology Fee. It is expected that 40% of this individual's time will be directly supporting ITS.
