A Payroll Auditor is responsible for performing daily administrative payroll duties to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Daily functions include auditing and data entry of timesheets for processing employee payroll, preparing reports, and addressing issues in a timely manner. Additionally, a Payroll Auditor is responsible for escalating issues, researching discrepancies, and assisting with the payroll hotline.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Audit and/or enter daily timesheet submittals into multiple timekeeping systems
  • Maintain steady productivity levels to ensure daily metrics are met
  • Review all emails to keep up with policy updates and schedule changes
  • Email daily excel reports and take immediate action when responses are received
  • Follow-up on outstanding issues and discrepancies by escalating to the Payroll Leads
  • Actively participate in team chat and daily team calls
  • Answering the Payroll Hotline as needed
  • Adhere to the scheduled work time and work location provided by Management
  • Cross-train within the Finance department as needed
Job Requirments:

  • Experience with Microsoft suite of products especially Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
  • Flexible, able to immediately adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines

  • High School Diploma plus 3-4 years of previous or related experience
  • Junior/Senior college student pursuing business degree with at least 1 year of related experience
