The Senior Field Engineer (FE) is responsible for providing technical support to all customers and field personnel in order to obtain proper quality control and quality assurance. The Senior Field Engineer is also responsible for the supervision of the Engineering Department personnel on their respective crew and completing any assigned projects.
Detailed Description:
Manage, coach and mentor Field Engineer (FE) I, II, and Stimulation Technicians on their assigned shifts; ensure trainees are completing assigned tasks
Create and set up pre-job files including site/iron layouts in CAD, data acquisition software, treatment summaries, and DVCommand
Ticket set-up and non-routine modifications
Work closely with Sales, attend key Sales meetings, and attend all pre-job meetings
Ensure job is being pumped to design
Create post-job reports for customers
Use current data to look at trends to help make decisions and improve job performance
Provide technical support to customer and Service Supervisor as needed
Work with Site Supervisor to meet efficiencies and/or metrics
Lead projects to reduce operational costs such as iron, fluid ends, fuel, maintenance, and consumables
Lead any other projects to support operations
Lead 6S and Lean projects
Work days off to cover vacations, Paid Time Off (PTO), staffing issues, etc. as needed (rotational schedule)
Cross-training with other internal organizations
Attend advanced engineering training
Improve rig in times and practices
Represent the Company and our values with integrity while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards with all interactions
Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Demonstrate the ability to work well with others and work independently when required
Demonstrate the ability to operate and maintain equipment
Demonstrate clear communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English, and to promptly follow verbal and written directions in English along with the ability to establish and maintain effective rapport with all employees at different levels both in the office and in the field.
Perform higher level algebraic calculations for job related purposes
Demonstrate excellent computer skills with focus on Microsoft (MS) Excel and field software
Willing to work extended schedules that may include days or nights, as well as weekends and holidays in different weather conditions
Possess strong organizational skills and multi-task efficiently
Must be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines including potential emergency response situations
Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job including but not limited to working on your feet, climbing ladders, working outdoors, and lifting
Ability to travel as needed to other offices and work sites, occasionally requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area
Must be able to pass Essential Functions Test (EFT) pre-employment
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering Tech (MET), Chemical, or related field of study)
Completion of CrossFlo Program (12-month Universal Engineering program) or 3+ years' experience in fracing
Must have and maintain valid state-issued driver's license, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle and meet the requirements of the Company's vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines

The Senior Field Engineer (FE) must work with an emphasis on individual safety and safety for others, including coworkers and third parties. This position requires working outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions typical of the area where the job is located, including dust, humidity, sleet, snow, rain, mud, cold, heat, wind, and other inclement weather. Working conditions for this position may involve exposure to varying outdoor conditions, including environmental chemicals, gases, noise, dampness, fumes, radiation, and heights.
