Position Summary
 
The Gunloader maintains accurate explosives inventory and inventories of perforating equipment for the Wireline operations.
Key Accountabilities


  • Maintain accurate explosives inventory.

  • Follow all applicable Federal, State and company regulations, laws and policies for handling and storing explosives.

  • Maintain inventories of perforating equipment as directed.

  • Given perforating intervals design perforating gun runs with little supervision.

  • Load and assemble perforating guns as directed following all company and industry safety policies.

  • Train entry level Gun Loaders.

  • Drive equipment to and from location as directed.

  • Maintain a clean shop and work area.

  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

  • Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies and procedures and applicable regulations.

  • Actively participates in safety meetings to identify and address risks and hazards.

  • Utilizes competency Processes to enhance job performance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Have written and oral communication skills.

  • Able to operate forklifts and man-lifts as needed.

  • Able to follow verbal and written directions.

  • Work as part of a team.

  • Able to lift and carry heavy objects.

  • Detailed oriented.

Minimum Required Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
Minimum Required Work Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years - Required
Licenses and Certifications

  • Valid Driver's License - Required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement - Required
