Infosys is seeking Principal Database Consultant. You will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 11 year of experience in Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications
At least 11 years of experience with system implementations along with basic understanding of key concepts related to Software Development Life Cycle, Information Security, and Digital Transformation adoption
Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming
Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams
Develop architectural strategies for data modeling, design and implementation to meet stated requirements for metadata management, operational data stores and Extract Transform Load environments
Ensure that industry-accepted data architecture principles and standards are integrated and followed for modeling, stored procedures, replication, regulations, and security, among other concepts, to meet technical and business goals
Collaborate with internal and external personnel, including system architects, software developers, database administrators, design analysts and information modeling experts to determine project requirements and capabilities, and strategize development and implementation timelines
Research new technologies, data modeling methods and information management systems to determine which ones should be incorporated into company data architectures, and develop implementation timelines and milestones
Create and test physical data models for a variety of business data, applications, database structures and metadata tables to meet operational goals for performance and efficiency
Facilitates communication and negotiation within and across the project team(s)
Agile Programs Execution Experience

Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Provides leadership to the project team for the standards and processes throughout the life cycle of the project
