Kforce has a client, a leading Long Island CPA firm that is seeking a Tax Manager and a Tax Senior in their brand new, beautiful Suffolk County office.
Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:
Tax Manager reviews/prepares individual, corporate, partnership, trust and estate returns and projections for accuracy as well as provide insight to tax saving measures
Perform Complex research matters
Tax Manager manages, trains, and mentors staff
Full charge coordination of client engagements including special project work
Tax Manager consults with clients on various business matters including controller support
REQUIREMENTS:
Tax Accountant needs CPA completed or in progress
3+ years recent public tax experience with HNW individuals and mid-sized businesses
Auditing experience a plus
Current knowledge of GAAP a plus
Excellent communication and writing skills
Proficient with a multitude of accounting software, Word, and Excel
CCH Axcess and Engagement a plus
