Brief Description of PSU/School/Dept Position Summary
Within approximately the first 4-6 months of employment, this position will be primarily focused on reviewing and processing employee compliance with the University COVID Vaccination Program, including the attestation/declination requirements and weekly testing requirements for employees who decline. The position will review confidential compliance records, send pre-drafted communications to individual employees who have not yet complied, and escalate cases of non-compliance for resolution. As the volume of COVID compliance work decreases, the position will include supporting FMLA / OFLA and ADA processes. The position will work closely with the Sr. Leaves Administrator and the Leaves Specialist.

This position is a limited duration (up to 12 months) at 1.0 FTE (approximately 40 hours/week), and reports to the Director of Employee & Labor Relations, Benefits & Leaves.
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated experience administering or coordinating projects or programs.

A Bachelor's degree in field related to the position. Five or more years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.

Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally through email, in person and via telephone.

Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing rules, regulations, and policies.

Proficient using Google Suite

Demonstrated strong attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Demonstrated commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.

Preferred Qualifications
* Work experience in Human Resources, Payroll or Benefits.
* Experience with Banner, OnBase, Cognos or PeopleAdmin.
* Experience working with confidential health compliance information.
* Experience administering, coordinating employer-wide compliance programs.

Work Days/Hours Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement
The starting annual salary rate for this position will be between $42,216 and $50,136 per year. The starting salary may be negotiable above this range, however it will be dependent upon the knowledge, experience, skills and abilities of the chosen candidate, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR. PSU's excellent benefits package includes 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon Public Universities
