Job Description:

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) has an immediate need for a Supply Chain Coordinator for Wollaston Alloys Inc. in Braintree, MA, to join our team. Wollaston Alloys is a stainless steel and high alloy sand casting foundry that manufactures castings for the military and power generation industries.

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for supporting supply chain operations by coordinating the movement of materials and product to ensure production needs are met. This position reports to the General Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for management of outside business-to-business activities such as scheduling of vendor services.
  • Manage inventory to meet production needs, place and fulfill orders, receive and ship inventory.
  • Administer procurement functions, including estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product.
  • Partner with leadership team to plan production schedule based on available staff, materials and equipment.
  • Maintain communications regarding product and materials availability and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and report on plant compliance with sales plan.
  • Oversee the resolution of invoicing issues related to Purchase Orders.
  • Run lead time reports, analyze data and determine and implement actions accordingly.
  • Maintain safety stock inventory levels for both finished goods and raw materials.
  • Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, SCM or related field.
  • At least one year of experience of supply chain operations experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Experience in the casting or metals industry strongly preferred.
  • Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Experience working in and maintaining databases using Microsoft Excel and others relevant to company processes.
  • Supply Chain Management certification is strongly preferred
