Under the Administrative Manager and Infectious Disease Division the Clinical Operational/Project Manager provides project management to support Infectious Disease outpatient practices including IDA, Travel and the Sexual Health Clinic. Managing in multiple projects to assist and improve the division to reach current goals. The incumbent will compile daily operation data to identify opportunities that to improve operations and efficiency.
Works with the Administrative Manager and Project Managers on a variety of projects, including (but not limited to):
Establish round table discussions that involve multiple role groups to focus on improving practice guidelines
Manage patient initiatives to improve the patient access and patient experience
Create dashboard to track and display practice clinical operation benchmarks improvements. Including but limited to optimize exam room, clinic session and CPT utilization for the practices
Organize meetings to facilitate hiring, education, training, leadership, wellness initiatives, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Develops other projects as determined by the Administrative Manager and Leadership Team/Division.
Hybrid remote/onsite model
Project manager experience preferred
Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent years of experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years of ambulatory care hospital experience.
Ability to work with diverse populations
Extremely organized, time management and priority driven in high stress environment
Manages projects, develops plans, and presents information confidently to a leadership group
Understands the privacy restrictions of sensitive information
Ability to compile and analyze and present data
Clear communication with fellow employees, great understanding for clinical terms and prioritize multiple projects.
Strong team building
Proficient in computer technology and is an expert in using Microsoft Office and EHR. EPIC preferred.
Adheres to hospital safety and quality metrics as well as knowing needed OSHA and Joint commission regulations
Experience in problem solving, route cause analysis, safety reporting and Lean Principles
