We are currently recruiting for a Configuration Management Analyst I. In this role, you will collaborate throughout all cross-functional departments to administer the change control process. This position facilitates change control to adhere to Configuration Management (CM) industry standards, methods and processes to support all product life-cycle changes.

What you will do in the position:

  • Generates, sustains and issues Part Numbers.
  • Closes Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
  • Communicates with internal customer to collect accurate product related information for Master Data updates in the ERP system.
  • Documents and maintains revision control of technical drawings such as bill of materials, product specifications, and part trees.
  • Manages the change control process management with respects to all engineering design/documentation information stored in the ERP System and document repository.
  • Negotiates solutions between different functional groups when required by a change.
  • Audits documentation and information to ensure consistency of format and accuracy of data in order to meet internal customer request based on CM practices in a fast-pace environment.
  • Facilitates and coordinates weekly Change Control Board (CCB) Meetings.
  • Interprets and evaluates internal customer requests by analyzing the change request, identify the impact of the change and how it impacts all cross-functional departments.
  • Initiates and tracks incoming, in-process and completed Change Orders (CO).

What you will need to succeed in this position:
  • Ability to identify issues and develop solution to non-routine proposed problems.
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal skills to accurately document, interpret and administer appropriate action.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a time sensitive, fast pace environment while responding appropriately, accurately and efficiently to CM scenario.
  • Previous experience in Configuration Management Discipline, knowledge of Bill of Materials structures and experience in Change Management is required.
  • 1-2 years prior Configuration Management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field - Preferred
  • High School Diploma - Required
