As a Hydrogen Engineer you will be close to innovative industries, forward looking companies and creative people that are looking for ways to lower our carbon food print with the use of hydrogen.


DNV has a broad suite of services that offer ways to streamline and de-risk the development and implementation of new technologies and process to support the complete Hydrogen value chain. From production of both green and blue hydrogen, transportation, and storage, to its uses in various applications.


This position could be based out of our DNV office in Katy, TX or remote based on any location in the continental U.S. (except Colorado).



What You'll Do


  • Be the drivers of high-quality delivery of Hydrogen projects in North America
  • Align with the Regional segment lead for H2 and CCS in North America to develop and foster the engagement of relevant clients in the region
  • Support lead generation, bidding, and project execution in operations
  • Facilitate domain knowledge building within the organization
  • Sell from domain experience
  • Support bid and project competence


Position Qualifications




What is Required


  • Master's degree or equivalent advanced degree with undergrad in mechanical, or chemical, or electric engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the energy industry understanding market drivers and technical challenges in the hydrogen market area.
  • Strong domain knowledge in any one or more of the following areas:
    • Hydrogen value chain
    • Green Hydrogen production
    • Blue Hydrogen production
    • Electrolyzers and electrolysis
    • Fuel cells
    • Gas processing
    • H2 transportation and blending
    • H2 uses in industrial sector
    • H2 Safety

  • Hold strong self-development, empowerment, and engagement
  • Creates trust through reliable delivery and strong and stable relationships with customers
  • Promotes a diverse and inclusive culture, respects and understands cultural diversity and can communicate and connect with people at different levels
  • Keep a positive and proactive attitude, with a solution-oriented mindset

  • Cultivates a broad and diverse network
  • Good communication skills and comfortable with public speaking
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
