Cognizant is seeking a AIA Engagement Lead in Hartford, CT.

Role Description

• Advanced SQL knowledge understanding of database structure design query languages (SQL) fundamentals of data warehousing fundamentals of data modeling and industry reporting tools
• SQL ETL bigdata & strong working experience as a QA test analyst.
• Business Requirement gathering & documentation.
• Expert knowledge of Excel and Tableau
• Working knowledge of data warehousing data modeling and ETL preferred.
• Ability to understand manage and navigate large data sets that involve data and analytics business requirements for LOBA analytics and help actuaries to accomplish their core accountabilities of Analysis of change rate indicators and provide quality data to the actuarial.
• Ability to understand high-level architecture and data flow patterns that involve in rate making Premium losses exposures limits and deductibles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal verbal listening and written communication skills.
• A high degree of demonstrated decision-making and problem solving is required
• Experience in commercial Insurance domain preferred.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field
• 10+ years of experience in ETL and 4+ years of experience in Business Analyst Role.
• Experience in different data bases like Oracle Hadoop S3 and Snowflake
• Experience in different file systems like XML JSON.
• Knowledge to operate with defect management tools such as Rally & QC
• Ability to work in sprints (agile project)
• Should have a thorough understanding of Agile framework
• Must have good communication skills in order to liaise with the customer stakeholders
• Functional knowledge on insurance domain is preferred
