Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to Monitor and control the loading and unloading of profiles.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities


  • Operates Waste Water Treatment Systems, Caustic Etch Recovery System, acid purification unit, deionized water equipment, ion recovery equipment and filtration systems.

  • Checks flow meter level controler, pH meter, motors and pumps, filter process, conductivity meters and centrifuge.

  • Cleans and maintains pH probes, conductivity probes, and associated meters.

  • Collects samples of the following solutions: degreasing, etching, anodizing, coloring, electro-deposition, and final discharge effluent for Waster Water Treatment Systems.

  • Performs limited titration procedures and minor maintenance of Waste Water Treatment Equipment.

  • Combines chemicals, and additions to pretreatment, finish and Waste Water Treatment process tanks.

  • Records data to track chemical usage, equipment history, and Waste Water Treatment operations.

  • Keeps assigned work area clean at all times.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements


  • Be vigilant about safety

  • Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence.

  • High School diploma/GED (minimum)

  • Basic computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, etc.)

  • Must have good communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask

  • Have a good understanding of BPCS & ADC systems

  • Ability to recognize similarities and difference between profiles
