Position Details:

This individual will be responsible for engineering support relating to photolithography of wafers before and after an optical thin film coating is applied. The person in this position is the technical interface with the production floor staff working as a critical part of the manufacturing team. This person will also be part of the technical interface team with customers and product design teams at Viavi to identify requirements, establish specifications and respond to inquiries pertaining to patterned products. As such, this person will establish systemic solutions and processes to improve process yields, product quality, engineering efficiency and process consistency. In addition, this individual maybe associated with establishing an overseas manufacture location for photolithography production.Education/Experience/Knowledge Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing of photolithographic generated products, both low and high volume
• Detailed knowledge of photolithographic process steps such as photoresist application, pattering and removal.
• Experience with various photoresist thicknesses
• Understanding of automated handling of semiconductor wafers to achieve high throughput and pristine quality.
• Experience in working with demanding consumer electronic based customers.
• Proven track record in working with production to meet customer specifications, expectations and on time delivery.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with internal as well as external customers.
• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics or other related technical discipline.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of fundamental engineering concepts, statistical process control and problem solving techniques
• Experience with product development.
• Bias for action.
