Summary
The Director of Global Benefits will direct the strategy, design, and development of processes, policies and practices for MiTek's benefit offerings. This role will position the company's benefit offerings to attract and retain a diverse workforce of high performing team members.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
What you'll be doing:
Lead the implementation and administration of the company's benefits plans (e.g., medical, dental, life, disability, paid time off, wellness, 401K, relocation, and voluntary benefits)
Act as a strategic partner to ensure that all benefits align with the company's objectives.
Manage relationships with third-party sources/vendors responsible for benefit services and benefit plans, including service agreements/contracts, costing and compliance.
Develop communication channels which educate team members and candidates of the value of their total rewards package.
Monitor plan performance and costs while partnering with Finance to ensure that appropriate budget estimates and accruals are in place.
Oversee request for proposal (RFP) process for various benefits.
Assist in designing and implementing a global benefits strategy
Working with our external partners and the global HR team to summarize benefit offerings by country, benchmark the offerings, and make recommendations for changes.
Supervises the Benefits Specialist, providing guidance and developmental opportunities.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Benefits certification (i.e. CEBS, CBP) and exposure to international benefits preferred
5+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits
3+ years leading a benefits function
Comprehensive knowledge of nationwide benefit plan design, tax and benefits laws and regulations
