AsanUnderwriting Rules Solution Analyst, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by working on various aspects of our automated underwriting platforms.You will participate on a team of dynamic rules analysts, working in a highly collaborative environment. You will also interact with various agile teams consisting of product owners, underwriters, solutions analysts, architects and delivery managers.

How you will make an impact:

• Participate in transforming the automated underwriting platform to create a personalized customer-focused digital experience, tailored to accelerate decisions


• Recommend, document and build automated underwriting rules in our underwriting rules systems


• Test and validate rules using various testing tools and techniques


• Maintain documentation of rules releases including rules philosophy, scope documents, and release notes.


• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners and team members to continually innovate underwriting roadmap to transform the customer journey

Theexperience you will bring:

• 5 years' experience in the life insurance industry


• Proven ability to understand technology and translate it into useful business processes


• Excellent critical thinking, verbal and written skills


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail


• Bachelor's degree

What will make you stand out:

• 2 or more years of Life underwriting experience


• Experience with UnderwriteMe Definition Editor or Munich Re Allfinanz Rules Designer and/or


• Innovative and transformative mindset


• Process optimization experience
