• Perform duties to select specified parts, make up a range of roller mounted bearing assemblies; arrange, operate staple machine, change fixtures, load, operate assembly machine; check assembly for continuity. Responsible for maintaining quality through adherence to specified programs, procedures, and requirements.

Position Description:

• Additional duties would include movement of inventory to and from the roller ATO area from ATO stores. Must keep accurate inventory levels to provide customer service on ATO product.
• Work from orders, lists, cards, demonstrations, and instructions to check part number to sample card, select, assemble listed components from furnished stock, notify of short parts, staple grommet, press rubber grommet on bearing, follow department procedure to disconnect, remove, change, hook up appropriate fixture, visually check, make minor adjustments; assemble some bearings by manually snapping top and bottom plate together; report equipment malfunction; material discrepancies, unusual conditions; complete work papers; keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Use pedestal stapler, vertical and horizontal presses, fixtures, continuity checker, hoist, lifting devices, mechanics, common hand tools.
• Follow all safety rules and practices, maintain good housekeeping.
• Select bearings and casting to assemble units from orders received from production control. Use of some judgment required to recognize defects. Making corrections to provide proper operations, maintain quality standards.
• Assemble all end caps; press on.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, move, manipulate up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

HS Diploma reqired, 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.
