Kforce is looking for a Manager of Integration and Middleware Services for our client in Dallas, TX.
Overview:
The Manager Integration and Middleware Services will be responsible for overseeing the design, development and support of technology hardware and software for the company's integration web services and their respective middleware environments. This includes architecture planning, construction, and daily support of key IT initiatives involving application web services, messaging, API and data management and other related technologies. In this role, the Manager engages with and manages the relationship with stakeholders to gain a strong understanding of the business needs and how software can enable the required business functionality.
This position works across business units, within IS and with our vendor partners to ensure that project and production objectives are successfully met.
Duties Include:
Manager Integration and Middleware Services ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service by designing, developing, upgrading, releasing, and maintaining the business capabilities using a structured process
Is responsible for company's overall Integration development and the administration of Middleware environments and maintenance efforts
Will consult with all stakeholders to identify their needs and build and maintains solutions that will balance competing client needs and priorities, improve business processes, meet targeted project business and performance criteria
As a Manager, you will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align product to meet customer requirements and expectations
Evolves and matures the current systems and applications architecture as needed; Introduces technology best practices and design patterns
Provide technology process leadership to develop lean and agile processes to quickly deliver the product or feature with acceptable quality to market
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering required or a combination of equivalent education and work experience
Certifications in Tibco and/or WebLogic technologies is a plus
Must have 5-8 years of experience leading multiple IS teams of engineers, team leads, and architects in a dynamic environment
Must have 3-5 years of working experience in leading application integration development and Middleware platform administration with associated daily support responsibility
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Installation, Configuring, Load balancing, Fault tolerance, Monitoring and Tracing setup of Middleware platforms using TIBCO EMS, WEBLOGIC and TOMCAT product stacks
Have proficient knowledge of TIBCO Integration platform BusinessWorks (BW 5.x/6.x), EMS, BusinessConnect (BC), Hawk, Administrator, Adaptors/Plugins for BW/BC
Have proficient knowledge in building SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) web services using SOAP/REST, XML, JSON, and other principles
Experience using UNIX shell scripting and Perl scripts, or Java/JavaScript applications that will automate tasks and assist in reporting and monitoring
L2/L3 support of Integration Services and Middleware Platforms: Resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis, address reoccurring complex problems to provide future application, hardware and/or software resiliency
Direct database experience with ASE (Sybase), Oracle 19c and SQL Server 2016/2019 databases
Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem-solving skills
