Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst in Commerce, CA.
Key Tasks:
Business Analyst will gather and understand business processes, policies, and information systems; With guidance from the Project Managers the BRA will be involved throughout the project delivery life cycle to document business processes, workflows, and requirements of the end-users
Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, the focus is shifted towards the management of the requirements specification, testing, and validating the fulfillment of all requirements
The Business Requirements Analyst is expected to support Project Management and Project stakeholders in identifying business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its strategic goals
This role is expected to perform requirements analysis and create functional process design, ensure testing services for delivery of project and enhancements requirements meet the scope and requirements defined by the business user and process owner; Ability to see between the lines, ability to analyze complex systems and/or projects
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have healthcare experience
Must be local to Los Angeles and be onsite 5 days/week
Ideal candidates will have passion for the under-served in diverse communities
Demonstrated understanding of requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, management practices/ability to apply them in practice
Facilitation skills, to lead requirements elicitation workshops
Ability to generate requirements documents with the solution in business terms, and create clear requirements to enable application development
Ability to develop test cases for new designs that validate the process and the system solution, and ability to execute testing for bug fixes and new capabilities being released
Demonstrated understanding of technical design specifications
Demonstrated understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design
Demonstrated understanding of how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other
Use case and activity diagram development (using software like Visio)
Experience with prioritization and project management (from a documentation perspective); Strong documentation skills
Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational communication skills; Must be able to communicate with technical teams and Business side of the projects
