HR administration which includes, setting up employees in our HRIS database as well as the ADP software for both US and Canada systems
Payroll Specialist will be the liaison for Benefits administration between employees and our Benefits/HR department
Process Canada employees RRSP payments and monthly payments of health insurance
Processing of employee expenses and reimbursements through MyChronos and FLEX
Administration of employee PTO through the TimeOut system
Workers Comp administrator
Employee terminations ensure that any terminated employee is paid out all vacations/PTO time correctly and that any pending payments are completed
Payroll Specialists ensure that all employee records for both US and Canada are properly updated contain all pertinent information and are saved in a secure location
Maintain proper records including any change to employee record via employee change form
Assist employees with disability claims
Complete an ad hoc task assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS:
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Strong Excel skills
Preferred:
3-5 years of Payroll experience is a plus
HR experience is a plus
ADP & SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
Previous experience in reviewing and coding employee and contractor expenses a plus
