What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Partner with department leaders across the corporate function to track and manage the General and Administrative (G&A) budget along with key corporate expense and company-wide spend managed centrally

  • Work with various business partners to manage company equity, benefits, cash flow, vendor spend and labor

  • Work with a variety of executives and teams to glean required data from various disparate sources

  • Utilize various systems and business intelligence (BI) to enhance reporting capabilities, leveraging operational and financial KPIs to manage various spend categories

  • Design and deliver standard reporting to support vertical leaders using a variety of software such as Power BI, Excel, Power Point, Oracle ERP and Oracle ePBCS

  • Ensure profitability targets are being met

  • Be responsible for valuating key KPIs to measure value of corporate function to the company, creating templates and deliverables for operational/financial KPIs; identify methods to monitor performance against original assumptions

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting

  • Solid working knowledge of Oracle Projects

  • Experience evaluating systems of internal control

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytic software; ability to perform database collection, use software programs to gather data for modeling and make meaningful use of the data

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Master's degree and/or CPA certification

  • Background in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or distribution and/or related systems

  • 3 years of project management experience

  • Knowledge of information technology functional areas, including operations, marketing, sales, pricing, project management, human resources and information systems operations

  • Experience with SAP Concur

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and prepare budgets, identify problem areas and make appropriate recommendations

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to various user groups effectively

  • Ability to think critically and leverage available resources to troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies

  • Strong drive to seek continuous improvement in reports and processes during company-wide growth and expansion

  • Thorough knowledge of financial monitoring and control, general ledger and accounts payable processes and procedures
