Medline has an opportunity available for an Associate Marketing Manager within our Sterile Procedure Trays division at our Northfield, IL Corporate Office! Under direct supervision the Associate Marketing Manager develops, implements and manages marketing plans, promotions, trade shows and other marketing/sales strategies for various market segments.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of senior marketing management, develop and implement promo-planning tactics against milestones established, work with the product divisions, sales and creative team to achieve a successful promo.
Work with product divisions to develop solutions and supporting marketing plans to address identified needs.
Understand and analyze the competitive marketplace and assist with developing strategies to compete for increased sales and profitability.
Act as the liaison between product divisions and creative development team to ensure development of effective selling tools as well as prioritization of needs across divisions.
Assist with strategic relationships with key customers and trade associations such as NAHCA, AHCA, NCAL, Leading Age and Advancing Excellence.
Assist with marketing tactics and partnership projects.
Manage trade show tactics to achieve goals and objectives - recommend and select featured products and provide support for marketing managers and sales to execute plans through to lead management.
Survey reps on select topics such as best practices, promo, marketing collateral.

Education
Bachelor's degree.
Work Experience
Previous experience working with data mining programs (i.e. Sales Menu, Business Objects, etc.).
Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
Experience understanding customer needs/priorities and skills to use that insight to develop innovative and effective marketing programs that generate sales.
Experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
