Medline has an opportunity available for a Marketing Manager within our Sterile Procedure Trays division at our Northfield, IL Corporate office! Under general supervision the Marketing Manager develops and implements marketing plans, promotions, and other marketing/sales strategies for various market segments. They also provide guidance to product divisions and sales based on market insights.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement marketing programs, promotions, and integrated campaigns that promote continued sales growth for sales division by working with Marketing Segment Vice President and sales leadership.
Manage projects and tactically execute customer visits by working with the product divisions, sales and customers. This includes working with sales representatives to identify goals, agenda content and presenters.
Assist in developing phase trainings for sales reps in all markets as well as new hire onboarding for the kitting group. Work with departments on the content and effectiveness of presentations related to the topics. Manage logistics of all training material (i.e. samples, communication material) for effective onboarding. Produce other marketing tools to help support (i.e. tours, demos, etc)
Review the competition and market trends to optimize and implement marketing initiatives. Share key insights with stakeholders.
Coordinate between the marketing design teams and the sales division on marketing projects under development.

Education
Bachelor's degree.
Work Experience
At least 2 years of marketing experience (ex. marketing plans, promotions, trade shows and other marketing/sales strategies).
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Previous experience working with data mining programs (i.e. Sales Menu, Business Objects, etc.).
Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
Experience collaborating with internal resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines
Experience understanding customer needs/priorities and skills to use that insight to develop innovative and effective marketing programs that generate sales.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
