JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:

The Director, Brand Marketing & Promotions is responsible for leading our annual brand strategy, building brand love and awareness, and developing strategic media plans for the promotions and product pipeline. This position oversees the process of cross-Marketing collaboration to develop holistic campaigns connecting National, Local, and Commerce communications work. This position directs and develops a team of Brand Management managers and professionals who serve as cross-functional project managers responsible for leading promotions.

Descriptions:

* Creates and executes annual strategic business planning, building brand love and awareness, developing strategic plans for the promotions and product pipeline, and developing a deep understanding of our core consumer.

* Directs and develops a team of Brand Management managers and professionals, including associates who serve as cross-functional project managers responsible for leading promotions. Selects, hires, and retains staff, developing and elevating associate performance to support the company's growth strategies.

* Gathers, analyzes, and applies guest insights and data in collaboration with Insights team, to help define effective and innovative strategic marketing approaches.

* Leads the development of a wide range of 360-integrated content marketing plans, including communication and engagement strategies across video, social, digital, and out-of-home (PR included through collaboration with PR Director).

* Collaborates effectively with cross-Marketing teams, including Restaurant Experience (digital commerce), Community Marketing, International Marketing, Brand Innovation, HR, and Panda Cares, to ensure brand consistency and overall success.

* Builds, maintains, and optimizes annual master calendar of Product and Equity-building communications.

* Creates and owns goals and performance metrics for campaigns; monitors regularly to understand efficiency of strategy and creative, evaluates media plans performance and reporting, and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.

* Leads and develops internal strategic initiatives, including Brand Handbook, Brand Tone of Voice, and core consumer immersion activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred

* Minimum ten years of directly applicable marketing experience, preferably in a nationally branded retail/hospitality environment, with increasing managerial experience

* Successful completion of annual store training
