Reporting to the VP, Global IT Infrastructure PMO, this position manages a portfolio of large-scale North America and Global programs from inception to delivery according to industry best practices in project management to achieve on-time, on-budget delivery.  This role is responsible for achieving and maintaining technology currency, driving initiatives to strengthen stability, and leading automation programs to drive standardization across global infrastructure and operations.  The program manager manages direct reports and leads regional project managers, architects, and engineers to define project scope, solutions, phased deliverables, and key milestones.  This role is also responsible for risk mitigation that may entail escalating major issues and deviations from plan, driving immediate problem solving and progressing key milestones. 

• 7+ years overall project management experience managing large IT infrastructure programs


• 3+ years recent experience leading and managing direct reports


• Ability to communicate effectively across broad base of stakeholders, including executive management, departmental leaders, and business partners


• Experience establishing, leading and successfully completing large transformation programs that lead to measurable results


• Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools


• Excellent written/verbal/presentation skills with ability to prepare senior management level presentations


• Strong attention to detail, organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills


• Ability to build strong relationships with team members, vendors, other departments and senior management


• Strong negotiation, influencing, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills


• Excellent Excel skills and proficient with other software tools including JIRA, MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio


• PM Certifications preferred: PMI PMP, Agile, LEAN Certified/Six Sigma, etc.


• College Degree, preferably in Computer Science


• P&C Insurance/Reinsurance experience a plus
