What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Ideate, create, and publish highly engageable, on-brand content that shares the achievements and culture of our diverse workforce

  • Oversee our editorial calendar and time organic posts to maximize performance and drive consistent content globally

  • Network across departments and business units to source meaningful stories and develop long-term campaigns, supporting efforts in Public Relations, Talent Acquisition, Customer Service and Marketing, and managing the rollout of related videos, podcasts and supporting media

  • Spearhead XPO's presence on next-generation social media platforms like Tiktok, while maintaining growth momentum on conventional channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin

  • Manage, engage with, and moderate content from across XPO's social community, collaborating with our Customer Service, Employment Brand, and international teams to maintain an active connection with the followership

  • Routinely analyze metrics and report on campaign and channel performance for executive stakeholders; employ social listening tools to track brand sentiment, monitor crises, and offer real-time insight as situations evolve

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 5 years' experience in social or digital media management; proven track record crafting content and campaigns that inspire engagement on behalf of a brand

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Experience with social media publishing, engagement, listening and reporting tools (e.g. Khoros, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, or similar software), as well as native platform analytics

  • An eye for design, photographic, and/or video composition

  • A particular passion for media-driven social platforms such as Instagram and TikTok

  • Experience handling HR, customer service, or similar inquiries with humanity, compassion, discretion and professionalism

  • Ability to independently identify and resolve complex problems

  • An unwavering positive attitude and approach to your job, your coworkers, and life in general
