General Laborer – Compost Facility

Sign On Bonus Available

Summary: 

Under general supervision, operate Skid Loader to perform various functions.  Hand separation of source-separated organic waste, utilizing lawn maintenance tools (lawn mower, string trimmer, edger), picking up plastic, general site organization, assisting where needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be able to work at a fast pace while maintaining a clean work area.


• Be able to use lawn maintenance tools such as a zero-turn mower, string trimmer, etc.


• Cleans and maintain operation site.


• Be able to work up to 6 hours on your feet in the elements

Qualifications Education:

• High School Diploma/GED


• Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.


• Must be able to lift 50 pounds


• Valid driver's license preferred


• 10-hour OSHA construction certificate


• 1-year general laborer experience preferred
