Meridian is looking for a Solutions Consultant to support our growing needs as support to our sales organization to help sell our state-of-the-art Learning Management Software to public and private sector institutions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to partner with the sales executives to engage with prospects, understand the prospects learning management challenges, demonstrate how our LMS can help solve their pain, and take a solution-based approach to selling versus a feature-based approach. The candidate will need to be an active team player, prepared to take leadership and charge for their responsibilities while maintaining open and frequent communication with other members of the Sales, Leadership, RFP, and Professional Services teams.

This is a remote office position with some travel associated with it.

In this role you will...

  • Partner with Account Executives to grow our business through engaging prospective customers
  • Work with Customer Success Managers to support demonstrations to existing clients
  • Collaboratively work with Product Management and Marketing to provide feedback about what prospective customers are telling you
  • Clearly and concisely respond to customer concerns during meetings with responses positioning the benefits of Meridian's solutions
  • Assist the RFP team with proposals and responses
  • Work with our professional services team on new client transition
  • Conduct virtual and live presentations
  • Assist with Meridian's sales and marketing events such as Trade Shows, regional events, etc.
  • Track everything in Salesforce or other CRM
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have Pre-Sales experience!
  • 2-5 years SaaS pre-sales support experience (public sector experience a plus)
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in learning management systems (LMS)
  • Collaboration with others and a team-orientated working style
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements and business drivers
  • Analyze RFPs, determine fit/gap, solution, cost estimates and project schedules
  • Supporting existing clients via demonstrations, webinars, etc.
  • Excellent written, listening and presentations skills
  • Self-disciplined and able to work in a high-paced environment
  • Supporting the handover process into Professional Services
  • Experience with virtual presentation tools such as MS Teams and Zoom
  • Ability to Travel Nationally/Internationally <50%
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
