If you are a Project Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Stafford, TX location, you will have a substantial role in providing technical engineering support for customer projects related to Emerson's product families. 

AS A PROJECT ENGINEER, YOU WILL: 

• Act as the technical lead role in evaluating project proposals, including quotation submittal and pricing.


• Support list price generation, optimized margin, and technical sales support.


• Partner with key stakeholders including but not limited to sales managers, product managers, engineering, planners, buyers, manufacturing engineering, and finance to maximize profit and provide quick technical solutions to customers.


• Be proficient in ASME and ASTM standards.


• Negotiate contractual documents directly with customers and/or suppliers to include review of Terms and Conditions.


• Assist factories by defining and coordinating special customer product modifications and/or service offerings to ensure customer requirements and industry standards are understood throughout phases of execution.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s  Degree in Engineering


• 2+ years’ experience working in an engineering/manufacturing environment.


• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the year.


• Strong computer skills.


• Ability to work with detail and solid math skills.


• Knowledge of pressure relief valves and SAP 

 
 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering


• Able to read and understand complex customer specifications directly related to Pressure Relief Valves
