Yoh Health care has a need for Medical Screeners and Collectors for a contract work opportunity with Yoh's client in Peori, IL! The pay rate for both roles is $18/hour!
Shift: Monday - Friday - 11am - 7pm (hours may vary and may include Saturday rotation)
Duration: 4 month contract
What You Should Have:
Prior medical experience preferred
Computer proficiency
COVID Vaccine Required
HS Diploma or equivalent Required
Excellent customer service skills
Must pass a drug and background check 24 hours after hire
Must be available for orientation the following week of hire (Wednesday & Thursday)
Must be fully vaccinated
What You Will Be Doing:
Medical Collector:
Provide support to the collections operation by performing set-up activities of supplies and equipment at fixed sites or mobiles.
Perform drive support activities including discontinuing blood units.
Provide Post-Collection Activities including examining the collection package, packing units, transporting batches.
Load and unload trucks and other vehicles, pushing carts up to 250 lbs.
Set-up beds and handle many totes containing equipment and snacks for the donors and tear down and provide other related donor and operation support.
Complete the donor blood collection process- remove needle, wrap donor arm, discuss post- donation information with donor, and escort donor to canteen.
Facilitate and evaluate health history (completed by donor)
