YOUR ROLE
Build and operationalize processes to support the business that ensure timely data-loading and maintain data integrity
Point of contact for creating and maintaining dashboards and data transparency
Create and maintain data pipelines and work closely with various teams to drive data collection and track-down technical and data issues
Proactively identify opportunities where data collection and analysis can improve business processes and influence decisions
Manage internal and external (primary and secondary) data sources for information and enhance data integrity and quality to provide actionable analytical insights and visibility into core business decisions such as prioritization of growth opportunities
Collaborate and interface with various internal and external partners to develop contextual analysis around trends, issues, and the impact of proposed changes
Enable continuous improvement in data quality, functional processes, and performance
Work closely with stakeholder teams to ensure data classification and definitions of critical KPIs are understood and accurately captured
Effectively communicate and present findings to stakeholders, department heads and senior management
YOUR SKILLS
Proven working experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Understanding of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (Python, R, XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks), Cloud
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
The salary range for this role is $95,900 to $139,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Connecticut. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
