JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for issuing, storing, and maintaining an inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE) and supplies for a pork harvest facility serving over 2500 employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Receives, stores and issues mechanical parts/PPE/supplies according to operational needs


• Assists with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of supplies


• Ability to interact and maintain positive rapport with a diverse workforce


• Performs data entry, clerical tasks, and administrative paperwork to ensure department maintains a high level of accountability for inventory


• Inspects, checks, and verifies incoming supplies are in good condition and meet quality specifications


• Communicates effectively and collaborates with department leadership to ensure the position provides a high level of customer service


• Adheres to all Company food and workplace safety policies to safeguard the workplace and welling being of all employees

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum high school diploma or GED. Some college or vocational courses preferred


• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, advance Excel skills or similar application and MRP system experience preferred


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English required, bi-lingual a plus.
