Summary:

The Technical Service Representative will be responsible for providing technical expertise to internal and external customers and service agents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Interface with customers and service agents on technical questions and troubleshooting on FBD equipment and follow-ups; both over the phone and occasionally on-site.

  • Provide customer support on inquiries to parts and warranty.

  • Processes warranty claims and order entry on warranty parts.

  • Records and reports all warranty calls.

  • Process incoming manage service dispatch and follow-ups.

  • Issues corrective action for customer complaints.

  • Back up for order entry on warranty parts.

  • Assist with PMs with Manage service locations and field support requests.

  • Other duties as needed and assigned.

  • Sporadic travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications - Education/Experience:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.

  • Excellent communications abilities.

  • Must be well organized and very detail oriented.

  • Able to interface professionally and responsibly with customers and visitors.

  • Ability to deal with pressure intensive situations diplomatically and calmly.

  • Computer literate Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).

  • Knowledge of beverage equipment is a plus.

  • Ability to troubleshoot problems with FBD equipment, minimum 3 months of experience in Test or trouble-shooting Department.

  • Valid drivers license and good driving record.

Physical Demands:


  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must constantly: sit, type, see, hear, and have eye/hand/foot coordination.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently: talk, walk, reach, grasp, lift and carry paperwork.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must occasionally stand, push, or pull.

  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 1-5 pounds and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

  • This position works in a typical office; however, must travel back and forth though a manufacturing facility as needed.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

  • Perform job duties for up to 10 hours a day and work overtime during special projects.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Specific hearing abilities required by this job include having to hear and communicate over the phone and in person in a noisy environment and having to hear alarms and bells in manufacturing areas.
